NOVEMBER 2009

There are no scheduled meetings for the Illiana Antique Power Assoc. in November or December. The next meeting will in January 2010. A reminder will be sent to you in the January newsletter.

Thank-you Tom & Carolyn Swanson......

Once again club members enjoyed a “trip to Fantasy land” at the October meeting held at Tom and Carolyn Swanson’s lovely country home. After a delicious carry-in dinner and a short meeting, Tom opened the door to his wonderful display of miniature builngs he constructed and Carolyn decorated. There were row after row of replicas of area businesses and houses, nativity scenes, collectable items, vintage photos and an antique map of Indiana hanging on the wall. Even though many of us had enjoyed this wonder-land before (this was our third year at the Swanson’s) there was something new to discover. Thank you Tom and Carolyn for sharing your hobby and talents with us. (Do we dare to hope we’ll be invited back again next year!)

FALL WORK DAY SCHEDULED:

Weather permitting, a work day is scheduled for Nov. 15, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. You can come earlier if you’d like. Any questions call Tom Swanson : Ph. 765-762-2009

LAST REMINDER:

Yearly dues were due at Show Time...some members are behind on their dues from 2008. We do not want to lose anyone! If you want to stay a member and receive the newsletter please send $20.00 to Doris Manlief, 3618 Donna Dr., Lafayette, In. 47905. Also we’d like to put as many members on our e-mail list that we can. You receive the newsletter much faster than through the mail. Send e-mail addresses to: abodine1@wildblue.net. This will be your last newsletter if dues are not paid by January 2010.

The Holiday Season is fast approaching. We’d like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in 2010!
